LAWTELL THE ART CAT - Strawberry Anemone painting

My human painted this strawberry anemone at the Aquarium of the Americas in New Orleans. It had just eaten and was happily digesting, all curled in upon itself. In this painting, layers of luminescent, blushing color emphasize the anemone’s folds. They’re complemented by the silvery zig-zags. The zig-zags remind me of rickrack on old fashioned dresses. If you roll over the image, you can see me being even more adorable than usual (if that is even possible) in a hat I took from a human feminist. Evidently it’s a thing. They wear these hats to protest in. I ’specially like the little pockets for my ears. Don’t know what the humans use the pockets for. The opalescent edges of the anemone make me think of pearls. I have my very own set here that I can clutch whenever something shocks me.

I absolutely adore strawberries! You can see for yourself in the 30 seconds of video below of me with my box of Louisiana strawberries. I’m a Looziana boy, who needs catnip? The Beatles’ Strawberry Fields Forever would make a good sound track. Please make me purr by sharing me with anyone you know who’d like to see me. I do my best to be irresistible!
