Lawtell here, with my always astute and insightful opinions on art. Well, this painting looks to me like a fairy tale about to happen. The “Once Upon a Time” in the title is carved in stone over the front door of this château in France. The painting has a glowing vintage look to it, perhaps inspired by the 1920’s when the castle was restored. La vie en rose indeed. All I have to do is gaze upon this painting and it takes me to paradise. How about you?
My human told me there was a feline couple at the castle. Their names were Henry and Marie and they didn’t get to live inside the castle, only beg for scraps at the kitchen door. Well, I may not live near a castle on the French Riviera, but I live in climate controlled comfort with multiple meals provided. They can have their fairy-tale castle and fabulous scenery! My throne may be made of cardboard, but I’m the supreme ruler of my domain, as my humans will agree.
